The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries of the National Ministry of Economy reports that, in August 2026, soybean crushing reached 4,252,151 tonnes (t). This figure marks the highest level recorded for the month of August over the last ten crop years, covering the period from the 2016/17 to the 2025/26 seasons.
Furthermore, August 2026 saw an increase of 344,212 t compared to August 2025, when 3,907,939 t were processed. This represents a year-on-year growth of 8.81%.
Thus, soybean crushing figures saw a significant increase compared to the same month of the previous year, reflecting the dynamism of industrial activity.
