As we learn from one of the weaner pig producers, demand for the animals is currently severely limited.

- Two farmers have recently dropped out of my group of regular customers, having completely given up production. Perhaps they will never return to it - a weaner pig producer from the Greater Poland Voivodeship tells us.

As he adds, even customers who continue fattening pigs on their farms are not as willing to buy as they would be under normal market conditions. Consequently, there is currently little chance of any price increases.
