- ARiMR has already received over 117 thousand applications. Over 65 thousand concern agricultural fuel, and over 53 thousand fertilizers.
- Applications can be submitted only until 23 October 2026. The application process is conducted exclusively through the Farmer Portal.
- The fuel subsidy is 0,52 zł per liter. For fertilizers, the limit is up to 500 zł per hectare and a maximum of 300 ha.
More than 117 thousand applications already submitted to ARiMR
The application period opened on 1 October and has attracted considerable interest from the outset. According to ARiMR data as of 9 October, at 16:00, the Agency had already received more than 117 thousand applications. More than 65 thousand farmers are applying for support for purchased agricultural fuel, while the number of applications concerning fertilizers has exceeded 53 thousand. Farmers still have time to submit their documents, but the deadline is fast approaching. The application period ends on 23 October 2026.
One form, two types of assistance
Support covers the purchase of mineral fertilizers and diesel fuel made from 1 March to 31 August 2026. An application can be submitted using a single form, exclusively online via the Farmer Portal. The aid is intended for farms that have suffered losses in connection with the crisis in the Middle East and rising production costs.
Fertilizer subsidies. Who can receive the money?
Farmers who purchased mineral fertilizers between 1 March and 31 August 2026 may apply for support, excluding agricultural lime and agricultural lime containing magnesium. It is also necessary to meet the criteria for a micro, small, or medium-sized enterprise. In the case of agricultural production cooperatives and farmers’ cooperatives, an inspection audit must additionally have been conducted within the three years preceding the year in which the application is submitted.
The purchase of fertilizers must be documented.
Documents confirming the purchase of fertilizers must be attached to the application. These may be structured invoices with a number identifying them in the National e-Invoice System, or regular copies of invoices if the purchase was not documented with a structured invoice. The amount of aid will depend on the quantity of fertilizers purchased and the difference between the purchase price and the average price of the relevant type of fertilizer announced by the Minister of Agriculture.
A maximum of 500 PLN per hectare
The total amount of support may not exceed 500 PLN per 1 ha of area approved for basic income support for 2026. Fallow land is excluded from the calculations. Additionally the area eligible for the subsidy cannot exceed 300 ha. For a cooperative, the limit is calculated taking into account the number of its members.
If funds run out, the rates may be reduced
ARiMR stipulates that if the total value of applications exceeds the available budget, a correction coefficient will be applied. In practice, this means that the final amount of payments may be lower than that resulting from the basic calculations.
Fuel surcharge: 0,52 PLN per liter
The second element of the program concerns diesel fuel. Farmers who purchased fuel between 1 March and 31 August 2026 and who also received a refund of the excise duty included in the price of agricultural fuel in 2026 may apply for support. An application must attach documents confirming the purchase of fuel and a copy of the decision granting the refund of excise duty. The amount of support is the product of the rate of 0,52 PLN and the number of litres of diesel fuel shown on the invoices. However, it may not exceed the number of litres determined on the basis of the excise duty refund limit for the relevant farm.
The deadline is 23 October
Farmers interested in support have time only until 23 October. It is worth remembering that applications are accepted exclusively online. Documents are not submitted at county offices or by post. With more than 117 thousand applications already submitted, the final phase of the application period is expected to be very busy.
