Auction of vessels in Izmail: technical condition and additional costs

The government agency acknowledged that the vessels are in varying technical condition. Some have been damaged as a result of military actions and have certain compartments flooded; others require maintenance and refurbishment due to prolonged inactivity. Potential buyers must therefore expect additional costs for necessary repairs, as well as fees for mooring the vessels. Customs duties, amounting to approximately 58,44 million hryvnias for the entire batch of vessels, will also have to be added to the starting price.

Expressions of interest from prospective buyers are being accepted until 20:00 on 7 October 2026. The auction will take place on 8 October at 11:55 in the format of a three-round English auction, reports Elevatorist.
