With a total investment of 2 hundred million yuan and an annual slaughter capacity of 5000 ten thousand broiler chickens, the Hebei Yichen Broiler Chicken Slaughtering and Processing Project has officially begun operations.

On the 10 day of the 26 month, the Hebei Yichen Broiler Chicken Slaughtering and Processing Project, a key industrial project in Fuping Economic Development Zone, officially began operations. The project has a total investment of 2 hundred million yuan and an annual slaughter capacity of 5000 ten thousand broiler chickens. Its launch addresses a gap in broiler chicken slaughtering and processing in Fuping County, marking the formation of a complete industrial chain for the county’s broiler chicken industry, covering feed supply, large-scale farming, slaughtering and processing, deep processing, cold-chain storage, and market sales.

Once the project reaches full production capacity, it will be able to slaughter 5000 ten thousand broiler chickens annually and produce 11.5 ten thousand tonnes of chicken products annually. It will generate annual sales revenue of 12 hundred million yuan and directly provide stable local employment for more than 800 people. It will continue to increase farmers’ incomes and prosperity, promote the development of Fuping County’s broiler chicken industry from isolated operations toward a cluster-based, large-scale model, and continuously strengthen the industrial foundation for rural revitalization.
