Following a series of increases, the live hog market saw prices fluctuate across the regions monitored by Cepea in recent days.
According to Cepea researchers, pork carcass prices traded at wholesale in Greater São Paulo, in turn, recorded their first weekly decline since the beginning of last month.
According to the Research Center, lower meat liquidity also limited increases in live hog prices in some regions.
As for cuts, Cepea notes that ham and loin prices rose in recent days, with demand picking up ahead of the year-end holidays.
