“Entering the second year of the event, NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo continue to strive to align the exhibitions’ objectives with efforts to strengthen the agriculture and livestock sectors and support national food security,” said Rafidi Iqra.
The Chairman of the Indonesian Poultry Breeding Companies Association (GPPU), drh. Asrokh Nawawi, emphasized the importance of using data in the poultry breeding industry, particularly in this era of advancing digitalization, to promote evenly distributed productivity gains across various regions of Indonesia. “Strengthening the poultry industry needs to be supported by accurate data to align production with market needs. In addition, distributing breeding, production, and processing centers across various regions, as well as synergy among industry players, are key to building a more efficient and sustainable supply chain,” said Asrokh Nawawi.
Meanwhile, Nanang Sugiarto, Director of PT Nusa Sentosa Indonesia (NusaQu), said that its participation in NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026 will feature business forum with engaging themes and speakers to discuss the future of an integrated livestock industry, as well as featuring a live field experience livestock farming with the concept of smart farming system.
“NusaQu also participated in NusaFarm through field experience that gave visitors the opportunity to become more familiar with the livestock farming ecosystem. Through this experience, visitors could see how farming activities are carried out, including the application of technology in feeding processes and livestock monitoring. We hope NusaQu’s presence at NusaFarm can provide a more tangible picture of the development and potential of the livestock industry,” said Nanang Sugiarto.
Deputy Chair of the DPN HKTI Livestock Division, drh Cecep Mohammad Wahyudin, said it was important to maintain the supply chain for livestock products. The downstream processing of livestock products greatly affects their value and the welfare of farmers in Indonesia. Therefore, the government is involved in orchestrating the livestock industry from upstream to downstream.
“Food security depends not only on production capacity, but also on how the products can be distributed safely, equitably, and efficiently to consumers. Therefore, strengthening the supply chain from upstream to downstream, including through refrigerated storage facilities and better distribution systems, is important for maintaining supply stability while improving farmers’ welfare,” said Cecep.

From the agricultural perspective, RMA Indonesia President Director Toto Suharto discussed how agricultural technology innovations have a significant impact on production output and farmers’ efficiency. Given the extensive farmland and the varying characteristics of land in Indonesia, RMA is participating in NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026 to support the development of an increasingly efficient and modern agricultural industry.
“Increasing mechanization is an important step toward boosting agricultural productivity in Indonesia. Through Mahindra Farm Equipment, we want to support this process by offering a range of mechanization solutions, from tractors to equipment that supports planting and harvesting. We hope this technology can better meet farmers’ needs and contribute to maintaining food security and achieving national food self-sufficiency,” said Toto Suharto.
The NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026 are expected to provide a meeting place for livestock industry stakeholders, fostering collaboration and cooperation that will contribute to the sustainable development of the national livestock industry.fara
