Piglet pricesMonth-on-month decline: The national average piglet price was 19.05 yuan/kg, down 2.4% from the previous week and down 26.8% year on year.
29 monitored provinces nationwidePiglet pricesAll declined. Prices were higher in South China, at 20.71 yuan per kilogram, and lower in East China, at 17.95 yuan per kilogram.
Livehog pricesfell week on week: the national average live hog price was 10.89 yuan per kilogram, down 1.6% from the previous week and 11.5% year on year.
Hainan's livehog pricesrose, while live hog prices in 29 provinces, including Tianjin, Jiangsu, Fujian, Xinjiang, and Ningxia,hog pricesPrices fell. Prices were higher in the Southwest, at 11.55 yuan per kilogram, and lower in the Northeast, at 10.32 yuan per kilogram.
Pork prices fell month on month: the national average pork price was 20.81 yuan per kilogram, down 0.8% from the previous week and 11.0% year on year.
Pork prices rose in Guizhou and Liaoning, while prices fell in 28 provinces, including Hunan, Shanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, and Xinjiang. Prices were higher in South China, at 23.22 yuan per kilogram, and lower in the Northeast, at 17.73 yuan per kilogram.
