Soybean prices, both on the domestic and international markets, have fallen in recent days, following the significant increase in September.

According to Cepea, on the international market, pressure stemmed from the progress of the 2026/27 harvest in the Northern Hemisphere.

According to the Research Center, in Brazil, spot market liquidity declined due to the sharp external devaluation, following the exclusion of soybean tariffs from negotiations between the United States and China.

In this context, the international decline supported export premiums in the country, limiting the pass-through of the external decline to domestic prices.
